Rita Maomenos debuts on LXVIII

Born in Portugal and based in Rotterdam, Rita is becoming one of the most mentioned artitsts among Netherlands techno scene. Having played most of the venues in Netherlands and Portugal she is releasing her first EP on LXVIII and we're excited to have her.

Starting with 'Can You Say' in terms of movement its really organic with playful synths, vocals and has a bit of melancholic feeling. Label head XVIII reinterprets with a heavy groove, crafting it into a rough-edged peak time track.

'Ocean' features mellow pads and stomping low end which is followed nicely by rolling percussions, not to mention the cavernous feeling that the track has.

Closing track 'Riot' makes this EP really ecstatic with a handful of elements inviting a powerful, hypnotic energy across the track.
