about

WHAT NEVER WAS Vol. I is the first release on LXVIII, a label based in Kosovo founded by XVIII or formerly known as Megan. The compilation opens with a straight forward drive-y track from Berlin based producer Dahraxt which gets more intense as the synths and eternal pad open up. Joey_M from Italy, an upcoming producer continues with a stunning offbeat track which shifts into a fast and relentless beat followed by the melodic arps. Modular Phaze comes with a hard hitting and pounding track with a great dynamic and continuing percussions. The 'Modular-Maniac' Monix sets the mood of this compilation with a broken beat tool along with well designed textures. Ronnius contributes with a banger which features stunning vocals and an industrialesque structure. Serbian producer Setha endures with Anomalous, a track with sharp and pumping low end which grows with hypnotizing composition. Berlin's Sleeparchive delivers a rolling track featuring cripsy and swinged bleeping sounds. Stephan Krus continues with a punchy yet groovy tool which also creates tension as it goes on. The acid mastermind Tin Man heats up with a trippy acid track, uplifting yet well-oriented with reverberating atmosphere.XVIII steps up with a well-developed melodic acid synth followed up by an intense build-up. Yenny Skev a producer from Sweden closes the compilation with a mesmerizing and purified track followed up by upfront hats and supreme low end.
